Methodology
Carried.io measures Mythic+ behavior, not raw performance. A player who parses 99 but never kicks and takes all avoidable damage will get a low score. And that's intentional.
Kick
Measures your interrupt effectiveness. The score is based on your interrupt ratio vs. possible interrupts, weighted by your group's kick capacity. If 3 melees kick everything, a ranged DPS won't be penalized.
Awareness
Measures avoidable damage you take. The less you take, the higher your score. Includes death penalties and high key level bonuses.
Activity
Measures your in-combat activity: active time percentage, performance relative to group, and idle gaps. An AFK player will score low.
Survival
Based on your deaths (55%) and defensive cooldown usage (45%). Death tolerance increases with key level.
CC
Measures your crowd control usage per minute, adjusted by dungeon (some dungeons require more CC than others).
Dispel
Healer-only score. Measures your dispels per minute. 0.5 dispels/minute is considered solid.
Why isn't DPS in the score?
Raider.io and Warcraft Logs already measure raw performance (DPS/HPS) very well. Carried.io exists to answer a different question: does this player do mechanics? A player who parses 97 but never kicks, takes all avoidable damage and never uses defensive CDs is a carried player, regardless of their DPS.
